Founded by Ronny and Nikki Tompot, our family-owned hospitality group specializes in Weddings, Private Events, corporate gatherings, and celebrations of all kinds throughout Temecula Wine Country. With decades of combined experience and a hands-on, heart-forward approach, we don’t just host events—we create Experiences people remember for a lifetime.
After successful careers in hospitality, events, and food service, Ronny and Nikki decided to build something of their own—something rooted in passion, balance, and genuine care for the people they serve.
What began as a shared vision has grown into a trusted hospitality brand encompassing Temecula Wine Country Events, Wine Country Catering, and The Nook—a private event venue designed to feel warm, inclusive, and entirely yours.
With three daughters and a strong commitment to work-life balance, Ronny and Nikki intentionally built a business that allows them to be present for their family while delivering exceptional experiences for their clients. That same sense of intention shows up in every event they host.
Ronny is the steady hand behind every seamless event. With over 30 years in the hospitality and events industry, his background spans high-volume restaurants, luxury hotels, large-scale entertainment venues, casinos, and nonprofit event centers.
Ronny brings nearly two decades of leadership in hospitality, including positions in top-tier hotels, casinos, and live events in such roles as Director of Food & Beverage at Pechanga Resort & Casino, Director of Player Development at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, General Manager at Live Nation’s Aztec Theatre, and VP of Operations at San Mateo County Event Center, among others.
In addition to these high-profile roles, he has also owned several different hospitality businesses including, the High Tide Cafe in Pacific Beach San Diego, the Dragon’s Den in the Gaslamp District, Creative Touch Catering in San Francisco, as well as the Happy Belly Deli, Christmas on the Ranch, and Temecula IceFEST, all located in Temecula, California.
He oversees operations, logistics, and big-picture planning—ensuring every event runs smoothly from start to finish. His calm presence, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail allow clients to relax and fully enjoy their celebration.

Owner & Executive Chef
Nikki is the creative heart of Wine Country Catering and The Nook. As Executive Chef and co-owner, she brings nearly 20 years of experience in restaurants, catering, and events—along with an intuitive, mindful approach to food.
Nikki believes food should do more than taste incredible… it should elevate the entire experience. She works closely with clients to craft menus that feel personal, nourishing, and beautifully aligned with each event, from weddings and private dinners to wellness retreats and corporate gatherings.
Her calm leadership, attention to detail, and genuine love for bringing people together are felt in every menu and every moment.
Business Development Manager

As Business Development Manager, Kelly supports client experience, operations, and growth, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully managed from the first inquiry through the final send-off. She coordinates logistics, timelines, contracts, invoicing, and marketing support with warmth, organization, and clarity.

Kelly is also a passionate advocate for inclusive, welcoming spaces and proudly supports The Nook as an LGBTQ+-friendly venue. Her goal is simple: to make every client feel supported, confident, and genuinely cared for.
